I will be the first to admit it; I am a compulsive organizer.
I like things neat and together. My clothes are organized by function, then color coordinated. My papers are in neat piles, with straight lines highlighted for useful information. My kitchen could easily pass for a set for the Food Network. However, one area in which my meticulousness continues to fail me is my power cords.

ustrated me. One slightly larger plug would overtake two outlets! I never was able to fully utilize them without attaching another power strip, which just seemed redundant. Fortunately for me, Quail Electronics came to my rescue, with the new rotating power strip.
The rotating power strip is unlike most power strips. It comes with eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, six of which rotate 180 degrees! So if I find one of those over sized plugs that take up far too much space, I can simply rotate it out, so there’s no wasted space. In addition, it also has two fixed plugs.
The pivoting outlets also allow me to move my cords around so they fit 
better with my furniture. No longer will my antique desk and rolling chair constantly collide with the mass of power cords. Instead I can simply rotate my outlet to face the proper way. Furthermore, the rotating power strip has a special cord management design to keep my cords together and neat!
The cord also uses a rotating NEMA 5-15P plug. This way, I can orient my power strip with 360 degrees of flexibility. This makes it much easier to fit my power strip where ever I need it to go.
Those of you who have read my previous blog posts know how I feel about electrical safety. For any plug to pass my test, it must 
be grounded and surge protected! I cannot tell you the hours I’ve spent double and triple checking to make sure all of my power strips are completely safe. Fortunately for me, the rotating power strip comes with indicator lights. The lights will be shining bright and bold when the strip is grounded and surge protected. That means no more late night worries for me! It also features Safety Shutdown Technology that protects if the surge protection expires, or there is an extreme, extended over voltage. Any way you slice it, I’m set!
But perhaps my favorite feature is the push to power button. When I push that button, it’s like I’m living sometime in the future. It’s simple, modern, and elegant. Basically, the rotating power strip is every organizer’s dream. Functional and space saving, the rotating power strip is the perfect companion for your power cord needs.
