Today, I take on an important topic: E-commerce. Let me begin by saying that I love the Internet. I think it’s great. The endless mirage of cat GIF’s, and cute puppies, and countless articles that chip away at my time during work. While the Internet is a wonderful place, you may also encounter traps and tricks hidden behind cute kitty GIF’s. It is especially important to be prudent when shopping online.
I have heard many stories of friends purchasing plugs and cords online only to find them falling apart. There was a recent scandal where someone died from a counterfeit iPhone charger purchased over the Internet. Fires and other safety hazards can begin from wires made of poor quality. With access to the Internet increasing, it is important to look at quality just as much as price.
Price and quality should not be mutually exclusive when dealing with e-commerce. Many people get so caught up in the low price of the product that they neglect to consider other factors. When purchasing power cords online, you should make sure you are buying from a reputable seller. Check product reviews. Consider whether or not they offer a way to directly contact a sales department or representative if you have more questions.
There are lots of great deals online, and good sellers, such as Quail Electronics, will offer you great products at reasonable prices. An emphasis on transparency and open communication is vital when purchasing products. If a company doesn’t display a way to get in touch, then they may not be the best way to go. Buying a thousand power plugs for a dollar isn’t that smart if none of them work.

Clark’s passion for righteous e-commerce began when he was duped into giving thousands of dollars to who he believed to be the deposed prince of Nigeria. This was his final wake up call, and he realized that forwarding e-mails probably had little to do with ghosts and that not every item he purchased on Amazon was used by Michael Jordan.
